Terms & Conditions

All Live Auctions will feature an in person preview period prior to live bidding.  This period of time is to allow bidders to view, test & evaluate the items that are up for auction.  Able Auctions sells all types of items, it does not test them nor make any condition reports.  As such, the onus is on the bidder to do their due diligence to assess the value the items have to them.  Except as set out herein, there shall be no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied, statutory or otherwise of any nature.

As well, there will be an online viewing of the items consisting of a lot number, description & one or more pictures of the items for auction.  This listing is available approximately 48 to 72 hours prior to the auction start.  Once the lots are online, approved bidders are able to place maximum bids on the lots for auction.  These bids are not retractable.  By placing a maximum bid you will be allowing the software to adjust your bid in accordance with other online bidders.  Each auction has a listing of increments right below the bid button.  The Maximum Bid bidding automatically bids for you. You start by entering in the MAXIMUM price you are willing to pay for an item. The bidding engine will then outbid anybody that bids on that item, on your behalf, provided that the bid doesn't surpass your maximum.

ONLINE BIDDING DURING THE LIVE AUCTION IS A FAST PROCESS, AND THEREFORE THERE IS NO CONFIRMATION GIVEN - YOUR BID WILL BE TAKEN IMMEDIATELY AND IS IRREVOCABLE.

The highest bidder shall be the purchaser upon the completion of bid verification. Bid verification will commence upon the conclusion of a live auction. All winning bidders shall be notified by email within 4 hours of the auction commencing. You may contact us anytime during the auction to confirm your purchase. Items will not be shipped, shipping must be arranged by the bidder or they must be picked-up prior to the removal deadline. Storage fees will be applied to all items past the removal deadline.

***NOTE: There may be discrepancies between FLOOR and INTERNET bids. In the case that this occurs, the FLOOR bid shall take precedence.  No bidder shall retract their bid. A bidder is deemed to have accepted an item when making a bid.    In the event of a dispute between two or more bidders, the auctioneer, at his sole discretion may put the lot up for resale to the highest bidder.

The auctioneer reserves the right to withdraw any lot at any time prior to the time of sale of such lot.

The auctioneer reserves the right not to accept any bid which is only a partial advance over the preceding bid.

The auctioneer may break down or consolidate any lot or lots at his sole discretion.

Able Solutions. Inc DBA Ableauctions.ca assumes no responsibility for any liability once a bid is accepted. It is recommended that purchasers arrange insurance for their purchases in advance.

Please take advantage of in person preview as all items are sold "As Is, Where Is" - catalogues are prepared only as a guide. Group Bidding - when bidding for an item that has quantity greater than 1, if you are successful, you will receive one of the group, not necessarily the lot you selected.

All Silent Auction items follow the MAXIMUM BID bidding scheme. The Automatic Bidding engine will then bid on your behalf when necessary to outbid other bidders, up to your maximum.
