HOW TO PURCHASE FROM ABLE AUCTIONS

We'd love to have you join us at one of our three permanent locations: North Langley, South Langley or North Surrey, or at one of our onsite auctions - we conduct many auctions on the premises of the businesses liquidating their assets. We service all of British Columbia, from the Lower Mainland  to the Interior and Vancouver Island.  It's always FREE to register and bid.

Our website changes on a daily basis, as items are received, we post pictures and descriptions.  Once we get the majority of the items in our  location we begin to lot the sale - creating a catalogue.  This catalogue is posted on our website approximately 2 days prior to the auction.  It includes pictures, descriptions and the order in which the items will be sold.  It does not include the condition of the item or smaller details - we want you to come to our site to preview the items in person. Each auction will have the dates and times for preview listed, please keep an eye on the website.

You can choose between bidding online as an absentee bidder or bidding online live.  We highly recommend you attend preview the items.  This will allow you to see the quality of the product, how you would remove the items and gives you the opportunity to meet the Able staff. 

Our auctions are all Online Only. To bid online you will need to create an account.  This is a one time process and needs to be done 24 hours before you want to participate in your first auction.  The online registration requires a credit card to be entered as there is no system to take Drivers Licenses or BCID.  The credit card information, name on the account, phone number and email must all be for one person - just as the DL or BCID in person.  The credit card will be charged $1 and then refunded.  This is to verify, just as we have to look at the ID in person.  We will never charge the credit card automatically.  If the total invoice is under $999.00 it can be charged to your credit card with your verbal permission. To charge the credit card you will need to call in to the location, and confirm the last 4 digits to process the payment.  If the invoice is over $999.00 you will need to pay with E-transfer or wire. Once you are approved you can either leave absentee bids as soon as a catalogue is posted or wait for the auction to begin and bid live along with the in-person bidders.  You will need to use a laptop or computer for bidding.  Phones/iPads are disabled due to too many issue with kids playing:)

Each of our auctions have the date, time and address noted.  A catalogue is produced approximately 2 days in advance of the auction.  Prior to that we will put up pictures, descriptions and sometimes a video.  The catalogue can be accessed by an orange button on the right (above the Sign Up for Online Bidding).  This catalogue will show you each lot number beginning with 1 - both pictures and description.  We auction the items in numeric order beginning with Lot 1 live on the day and time of the auction noted.  Prior to the auction you can Sign Up for Online Bidding and place pre bids as soon as you see the Catalogue posted. We do strongly suggest previewing the items prior to bidding. Please review when we have previews at our locations and on-sites.

20% Buyers Premium plus GST 5% and PST 7% is charged on top of your bid price.

- We will have a paid invoice ready for you.  Pick up is by appointment on specific day(s).  After that there will be a storage fee of $50.00 per item per day.

**Please make sure you are able to make your scheduled pick-up time.  You or somone you designate (family, friend or courier) can pick up but please inform us if you are designating another person. Our pick up times include until 6:30pm on auction day at our 3 permanent locations. Due to the amount of people rescheduling their pick-up times we find it necessary to implement a $50 rescheduling fee for rescheduling which will be donated to charity.  It is important that you show up on time.  If you don’t make your scheduled time you will need to send an e transfer to payment@ableauctions.ca $50 before you will be allowed to bid at future auctions. **
