 Night Wind is a ketch sail boat 38' long at the water line. Approximately 47' long on deck. 10'6” at beam.

She was the only one professionally built in 1964.  Built in Victoria, BC. She is rigged for single handed sailing. She is registered transferable to her new owner as an ocean class yacht to sail anywhere in the world. Her original design & blue prints with the books of her history are on board.

plough & danforth anchor with a full complement of chain & approximately 250' of rode

newly installed foresail furler

sail complement is Genoa, jib, storm jib, main sail & mizzen. sails all in excellent condition for age

all rigging with much extra good quality in excellent condition

all sail covers in 98% good condition

slightly used 9' zodiac soft bottom with fast electric or manual air up with 3.3hp merc to scoot with in minutes

recently installed Perkins diesel re-conditioned 30hp auxiliary engine that can over power the prop

electric bilge pump & manual

a wonderful working Dickson diesel fuel stove for cooking & heat that draws from the 155 litre fuel tanks

approximately 150 litre fresh water holding tank & galley foot pump

built in ice box in galley

recent complete head upgrade with large electric pump for water supply & new mackerator pump

all navigation lights in working order with new forward mast beam light purchased but not installed

purchased new all around anchor light but not installed

master switch for keeping reserve battery for auxiliary engine starting

2 new 6 volt deep cycle & 3 new deep cycle 12 volt of highest reserve power possible purchased & installed

the battery's ran a Danby fridge/freezer for one week before their was the first voltage drop

ASUS computer with all North American chart plotter programmed with GPS except for Mexico & south

latest for auto helm installed, point in direction you want & push the button

just out of the water for new depth sounder installation, anti-fouled, re- painted professionally & returned to the water where she belongs & she is the most impressive for no leakage & any oil spillage will not leak out, stays contained for clean up with no harm to environment.

 new Raymarine depth sounder instrument panel has too many bells & whistles to list. Install connector cable

new DSC radio system with distress signal to satellite for coastguard pinpoint  locating anywhere in the world

 

Galley Complements

new microwave, coffee maker, toaster, plus dishes, cutlery & most house hold kitchen supplies
